Snowman Snowball Amigurumi

It's snowing here in Illinois, so this pattern seemed appropriate. Scroll down for the PDF version, plus instructions on how to make your own DIY jingle bell noisemaker.

Snowman Snowball Amigurumi
SUPPLIES:
Crochet hook, size F/3.75mm
Cotton yarn, 4 ply
     2 oz. white
     1 oz. hat color of your choice
     < 1 oz. black and orange
Scissors
Yarn or tapestry needle
Stuffing
Special Stitches:  
 Back Post Half Double Crochet: Yarn over.  Insert your hook around the post of the stitch you’re working into from the back to the front and around to the back again. Yarn over again and pull through so that you have three loops on your hook.  Yarn over once more and pull through all three loops to complete the stitch.

Head 
Start at the base of the head with white yarn 
Rnd 1: Sc 6 in magic ring OR Ch 2, Sc 6 in the second ch from the hook (6 sts)
Rnd 2: Inc 6 times around (12 sts)
Rnd 3: [Inc in one st, Sc in the next st] repeat 6 times around (18 sts)
Rnd 4: [Inc, Sc in the next 2 sts]…
