Of Delight Crochet
I’ve been playing around with using
different colors in my crochet, mostly because I have a growing stash of pinks,
reds, and oranges that never get used.
And since next month is February, I decided to make some hearts for
embellishment. I thought they turned out
pretty well, so I adapted them to make a butterfly.

Start by making 2 each

use Black yarn.

Row 2: Starting in the 2nd ch from the hook,
sl st in each st of the chain.
Finish off, leaving a moderately long tail. Knot the beginning and ending tails together
and snip them to equal lengths to form the antenna.
Finishing-
Sew the wings together
in pairs, with the Medium heart slightly overlapping the Small heart, using the
picture as reference. Remember that the
wings should mirror each other. Next sew
the two pairs together in the center and attach the Butterfly body over the
seam.
