Free Crochet Amigurumi Pattern: Deadly Cute Crochet Ninja


Deadly Cute Crochet Ninjas
Worsted Weight Yarn Colors:
Peach-one skein or less
Black-one skein or less
Gray and brown-small amounts

Other Supplies:
F/5 (3.75 MM) crochet hook
Yarn or tapestry needle
Scissors
Stitchmarkers
Polyester Fiberfill

Head/Body
Start with peach yarn.
Rnd 1: Sc 6 in magic ring OR Ch 2, Sc 6 in 2nd ch from hook
Rnd 2: Inc 6 (12 sts)
Rnd 3: (Inc, Sc 2) rep 4 times (16 sts)
Rnd 4: (Inc 2, Sc2) rep 4 times (24 sts)
Rnds 5-9: Sc 24 (24 sts)
Rnd 10: (Dec 2, Sc 2) rep 4 times (16 sts)
Rnd 11: (Dec, Sc 2) rep 4 times (12 sts)
Use black yarn to make French knot eyes or sew on safety eyes on the front of the face.  Use peach yarn to sew a nose; I used 3 or 4 straight stitches . Stuff.  Switch to black yarn and continue crocheting in the round.
Rnd 12: (Dec, Sc 1) rep 4 times (8 sts)
Rnd 13: (Inc, Sc 1) rep 4 times (12 sts)
Rnd 14:  (Inc, Sc 2) rep 4 times (16 sts)
Rnd 15: Sc 16 (16 sts)
Rnd 16: (Inc, Sc 3) rep 4 times (20 sts)
Rnd 17: (Inc, Sc 4) rep 4 times (24 sts)
Rnd 18: (Dec, Sc 2) rep 6 times (18 sts)
Rnd 19: (Dec,Sc 1) rep 6 times (12 sts)
Stuff.
Rnd 20: Dec 6 (6 sts)
Finish off; weave in ends.
Arms
Use black yarn and make 2.
Rnd 1: Sc 6 in magic ring OR Ch 2, Sc 6 in 2nd ch from hook
Rnd 2: Inc 6 (12 sts)
Rnd 3: Sc  12 (12 sts)
Rnd 4: (Dec, Sc 1) rep 4 times (8 sts)
Rnds 5-7: Sc 8 (8 sts)
Finish off, leaving the end open.  Stuff and set aside.
Feet
Use black and make 2.
Rnd 1: Sc 6 in magic ring OR Ch 2, Sc 6 in 2nd ch from hook
Rnd 2: Inc 6 (12 sts)
Rnd 3: Sc  12 (12 sts)
Rnd 4: Dec 3, Sc 6 (9 sts)
Rnds 5-7: Sc 9 (9 sts)
Finish off, leaving the end open.  Stuff and set aside.  Sew the legs to the bottom of the body and the arms to either side.
Sash
Use brown.
Row 1: Ch 21.
Row 2: Starting in the second ch from hook, Sc 20
Finish off.  Attach the sash at the left hip (your left, not the ninja’s), right shoulder, and left hip again.
Hood
Use black yarn. .
Rnd 1: Sc 6 in magic ring OR Ch 2, Sc 6 in 2nd ch from hook
Rnd 2: Inc 6 (12 sts)        
Rnd 3: (Inc, Sc 2) rep 4 times (16 sts)
Rnd 4: (Inc 2, Sc 2) rep 4 times (24 sts)
Rnd 5: (Sc, Inc 2, Sc3) rep 4 times (32 sts)
Rnds 6-7: Sc 32 (32 sts)
Work the next section in rows.
Row 1: Ch and turn, Sc 23
Row 2: Ch and turn, Sc 23, Ch 9
Go back to working in the round.
Rnd 8: Sc 32 (32 sts)
Rnd 9: (Dec, Sc 2) rep 8 times (24 sts)
Rnd 10: (Dec, Sc) rep 8 times (16 sts)
Finish off and weave in ends.  The hood can be kept loose so that it can be taken on and off.

Handles
Use brown; make 2.
Rnd 1: Sc 5 in magic ring OR Ch 2, Sc 5 in 2nd ch from hook
Rnds 2-5: Sc 5 (5 sts)
Finish off. Weave in ends.
Chain
Use gray.
Row 1: Ch 10
Sew one of the handles to each end of the chain.
Bo (Staff)
Use brown.
Rnd 1: Sc 5 in magic ring OR Ch 2, Sc 5 in 2nd ch from hook
Rnds 2-13: Sc 5 (5 sts)
Finish off. Weave in ends.
Sword
Use brown.
Rnd 1: Sc 5 in magic ring OR Ch 2, Sc 5 in 2nd ch from hook
Rnds 2-5: Sc 5 (5 sts)
Switch to gray yarn.
Rnds 6-13: Sc 5 (5 sts)
Finish off. Weave in ends.  Flatten the end of the sword and sew it shut.
